We invited more than 60 trade visitors and partners to the event. Participants gained an insight into how our group operates, learned about our hydraulic developments and met Parker’s international and Hungarian specialists in person.
Why was Parker the first stop?
Parker technologies play a leading role in the hydraulic systems of high-pressure die-casting machines worldwide. As a result, Öntőgépszerviz Kft. has worked with Parker hydraulic systems, components and solutions on a daily basis since it was founded — which is exactly why we opened the anniversary series with this day.
Official Parker system integrator for more than 15 years
As a system integrator, we recondition, upgrade and modernise the hydraulics of die-casting machines with direct factory support. Every machine we recondition is fitted with Parker’s latest technologies, ensuring operation, energy efficiency and reliability that meet modern die-casting requirements.
Official Parker distributor for more than 10 years
The next milestone in our cooperation was gaining distributor status. We have been expanding our stock ever since: today, one of the largest Parker hydraulics inventories in Hungary is available to our partners at the ÖGSZ Hidraulika Kft. shop. This allows us to serve not only the foundry industry but also companies from many other industrial sectors quickly and reliably.
Our stock ranges from pressure gauges and pressure switches through proportional valves, filters and drive controllers to axial piston pumps.
Plant tour — from the machining shop to the parts warehouse
Our guests saw this background in practice: they visited the machining shop, the hydraulic service workshop and the warehouse, where Parker components line the shelves.
Live technologies, joint developments
The demonstration focused on three areas, each of them a result of our partnership with Parker:
A jointly developed family of hydraulic manifolds
We have been using the manifold family developed together with Parker in our die-casting machine reconditioning projects for more than 7 years: we replace the original pump, locking and shot manifolds with our own modern, Parker-based manifold system. The upgraded machines thus match new machines in functionality, controllability and reliability.
Energy-efficient DCP pump drives
We demonstrated Parker DCP drive systems in operation, together with measurement data — answering participants’ questions on the spot, right next to the machine.
Certified Parker Tech Center — since 2025
Following a multi-stage factory training and certification process, we have set up a hydraulic diagnostics and service laboratory where we carry out complete diagnostics, repair and reconditioning of the Parker T series proportional valves — including TDP valves — used in modern die-casting machines. This gives our partners tangible benefits:
- significantly lower repair costs,
- complete valve replacement can often be avoided,
- shorter downtimes,
- faster and safer maintenance.
